hummer

you know your baby is growing up when he hums with you. i used to rock him to sleep for naps/bed time and hum songs to him, but now he just starts humming along! what a big boy i have. a 1 year old! CAAARAZY!

i just went to target today and bought his big boy carseat. he is going to LOVE driving in it! he gets to face forward and be by the window. its a super nice carseat that will last until he doesnt need one anymore. thanks aunt marla, aunt margie, and nana and pop for the birthday $ to buy one! its fabulous! owen is more excited about the big box that it came in than the actual seat. im telling ya, this kid doesnt need toys. he needs boxes and spoons to play with.

nana and pop came this weekend. they helped us pack up a big trailer and drove it back to texas. 9 more days and ill be flying to texas too. i cant believe its getting so close! definitely bittersweet, but we are excited. here are a few pics from the weekend-
