not too much has been going on around the sherman household. well, a lot has, actually. just nothing too new. our family went over to the stewmans house today to watch the UT football game, which was fabulous! as we were all getting dressed, i realized that im the only one without longhorn clothing! i have some stuff, but nothing burnt orange. i think i may need to go somewhere near campus and buy a cute UT dress or something. im not much into t-shirts these days. ill work on it.
our church is going SO SO great. the people are just so incredible. ive managed to make some incredible friends and to get into a mentorship type role with our teaching pastors wife. she is so wonderful, and im excited to learn as much as i can from her. AND we have an official name! its Providence Church. pretty great. we're going to send out a blog update to all of our supporters with the new name and information.

another quick note i thought of- yesterday i got to go to starbucks by myself and i had time to mop the floors. when nathan came home, i said "you know youre a mom when a wonderful day means going to starbucks and having time to mop the floors." his response was- "um, honey, i dont think all moms would consider that wonderful day." so true. i guess i am a little special with my intense desire to have clean floors.
