Im not a runner. Not at all. However, I'll be in a couple weddings this year and would like to get in shape. So, thanks to the encouragement of my sweet neighbor, Ive signed up for my first 10K in March and a sprint triathlon in June. I repeat, I am not a runner, but I love having goals to reach! Without these goals, I would not be working out as consistently as Id like. So, this is the conversation that Nathan and I had this morning-
Me: Ok, Im going to run 4 miles.
Nathan: Are you really going to do it??
Me: Yup, I have to.
Nathan: Ok Owen, in a little bit we are going to go search for mommy and pick her up off of the sidewalk.
Ahhh the support :) He really is supportive and so encouraging, not to mention all the kid watching he does while I run and swim!
And I did complete the 4 miles at the pace that I wanted. :) (which is huge, since I was maxing 2 miles about 3 weeks ago!)
well done. i ran my first 10K last summer and it was awesome. i think you should make nathan run with you, while pushing a stroller!
