Parenthood

Ah, parenthood. Its wonderful. There are so many different parts of parenting that can be so much fun, so hard, and so interesting! An example...

Last night, I put the boys to bed like usual and was washing the dishes downstairs. When I turned off the water, I heard HORRIBLE screaming from one of the boys rooms. The kind of screaming that makes your heart stop and causes you to drop what youre doing and RUN. I grabbed the monitor on the way upstairs to see which boy was screaming and saw that it was Owen. I assumed that he had either vomited, banged his head, or was somehow dying... When I entered the room, he was standing up with tears pouring down his face and screamed loudly "SOCK ON!" He had accidentally taken his sock off and wanted me to put it back on. Yup, thats what all the screaming was for. Unreal.
