da ducka da

that's been owens motto the past few weeks. daaa ducka daaa ducka daaa ducka daaa. hes been chanting that around the house and has been entertaining caleb quite well. heres a video to prove it-



aaaand, owen has the chicken pox. it's not too bad, since he had the vaccine when he was a year old. my doctor told me, and ive heard of numerous cases, where kiddos get the vaccine and then get the pox anyways. the cases are much less severe, like owens, but they still get it. he has a few spots on his face, a few on his back and belly, but his ears and lower legs are COVERED. he has completely destroyed his legs. he always scratches his bug bites until they are giant scabs, so the pox on his legs have become giant scabs already. ive heard of adults having scars from chicken pox, and id really rather that not be the case for owen. so, he'll be covered in bandaids from now on. these pictures dont do justice to the destruction that hes done, but here are a few..
