Micah Henry

5 weeks later, Ive decided to post about our newest addition.  We did move to New Mexico 4 weeks after he was born, so Ive got a pretty good excuse.  The last month has been full of packing, cleaning, goodbyes, parties, moving, unpacking, organizing, cleaning, and parties! It really has been smooth and everyone has transitioned ok so far.  Micah is a champ of a baby, so here is his quick story-

Micah was born via C section on May 30, 2012.  My stomach was LARGE, so we knew he was going to be a big baby.  My doctor estimated 8 pounds 9 ounces, but that kiddo was 9 pounds 4 ounces! As soon as he was out of my tummy, everyone in the operating room said WHOOAAA! :) He was healthy though, so no complaints here!  The C section was smooth, except for a lot of pain when they started the patossin to shrink my uterus.  But, I loved my anesthesiologist, and I absolutely adored my nurses, Emily and Michelle. The hospital stay was great, I always love the alone time at night with my new baby.  My parents came in from Florida and stayed for over a week, which was AWESOME! They took the older brothers to Sea World, the zoo, parks, Locomotion, anything to keep them entertained!  It almost made transitioning to 3 kids too easy! Nathans parents also drove all the way to and from Austin in one day just to meet little Micah!  It was so fun to have everyone there, loving on our 3 kids.

Micah eats good, sleeps good, and poops good- I dont know what else I could ask for from a baby!  He is getting bigger by the day, but really doesnt demand food too much.  He has started to stay awake for longer periods of time, and I'll be happy when he is entertained by his silly brothers! He has made the move to Albq easy and is still sleeping in the bassinet next to me. I love this kiddo and cant wait to watch him grow!
