Giving In..

So I have officially decided to give in to the whole blogging thing. I used to think it was just for weirdos, but some of my greatest friends are doing it, so clearly its become quite respectable! I also need some sort of outlet for all of my Owen adventures, and this seems like the appropriate venue. Friends and family who haven't caught on to the life of facebook can also use this blog to stay updated on Owen. We'll see if I actually stay consistent with updating, or if this is the one and only blog I ever write...

It is still completely crazy to me that I'm married to the man of my dreams and our 6 week old son is sleeping next to me. Well, he's mumbling, which means that I will probably have to pick him up and begin typing with one hand soon. I'm actually getting pretty good at it... I love this life that the Lord has blessed me with, and I'm excited to share all of our adventures with our new sweet baby. Praise God for His providence, and grace, and righteousness. It's pretty incredible that God became flesh and did what the law was powerless to do.

So life goes on with Me, Nathan, Owen and Titus here in Louisville. We're looking at 2 more classes for me to finish my MA and 3 more semester for Nathan to finish his MDIV. We love our church and our wonderful friends. Our time in Louisville has truly been a blessing so far! Ok, enough summary. Hopefully I'll have more interesting blogs in the future, but theyll probably just be about Owen spitting up on me or pooping all over the nursery. Those are the kind of stories I enjoy these days, and hopefully the rest of the blogging world will too.

  1. MARCIE! I am SO excited that you've joined the blogging world! It's almost as addicting as facebook. Haha. I'm so excited to add you to my column of blogging buddies. It sounds like you're doing soo well and I couldnt be happier for you. Really! It seems like the other day we were crossing our eyes and saying" excuse me miss... I want a potato now!" haha. Ohhh my gosh, good times. I can't WAIT till Nick and I start bringing children into this world! Little Owen is so precious. I watched American Idol tonight and they were in Louisville, and I thought of you! Keep up the awesome blogging! Love ya!
