Sweet Owen

Today was my second Saturday to go back to work, and it was wonderful to get out of the house and be part of society. I had no idea that it would be so difficult to leave Owen, though. I called Sarah, my wonderful friend who babysat for me, and I could hear Owen crying in the background.. it absolutely broke my heart! I think that working Saturdays is the perfect gig for me, as I only have to be away from Owen for a short time, and I can keep up with the people at work that I love so much.

I have been absolutely blown away by the women at Grace Church and their incredible servants hearts. My good friend, Stephanie, just had a baby, and these women have cooked a meal for her three days a week for the entire month of January.. and they don't even know her! What a testimony of God's love! Stephanie and her boyfriend have been very blessed by the situation, as have I!

So Nathan is beginning to talk more seriously about going to Nepal sometime this summer on a mission trip through the Seminary. I'm praying for a good heart about it, as I am entirely selfish and don't want him to leave me and Owen for 2 weeks! I know that this trip would be a great blessing for all of us though, and it is wonderful that I have a husband who desires to serve the Lord in this way. Aaaand I don't think mom/grandma will mind, since I will clearly be going to Florida during that time!

School starts on Monday- my last 2 classes of my graduate degree! Then NO more school EVER! I have completely loved seminary and the wonderful things that I have learned, but I'm ready to move on from being a student. Motherhood is more my style :) Ok, I promise to try to have more interesting stories in the future. For now its just poop, spit up, and peeing in the bath tub! Owen is getting much bigger though, so I'll be sure to have an update next week after his 2 month appointment.. CRAZY!
