When it rains, it pours...

What a rough weekend! I came down with a HORRIBLE head cold on Thursday and felt awful for a few days, then ended up getting a stomach bug and puking my guts up on Saturday. Lovely, I know. The entire time I was sick, I was trying desperately not to get Owen sick. Sooo, of course, today he is sick! We went to the doctor and he just has a cold, which is good. I should have just taken him to Dr. BreAnna, cause she told me exactly what the doctor did, and she's free!! What a horrible mother, passing on all this sickness to my 7 week old! Uh! Meanwhile, Owen weighed in at 13 pounds today! What a porker! I love his little pot belly and double chin. Ive gotta figure out how to upload pictures with the blogs so I can share his sweet face with everyone.

Nathan and I received news today that his job at Sprint will no longer be providing tuition reimbursement. Thats a good $8,000 that we will be dishing out over the next 2 years. It is quite a blow to our savings and what we thought we would have when we leave Louisville. We'll talk and pray about it though, and know that God will provide. He has blessed us so much already, I could never doubt His provision!

The Bachelor is tonight, and im SO excited. I don't know if I am as excited as Nathan though (I'm glad he's not part of the blogging world!). He's hooked on Jason more than I am! I'm all for Naomi, Melissa, or Jillian. I can't wait for Deonna to come back and shake things up a bit! Meanwhile, I've gotta get back to my 7 week old bachelor...

  1. MARCIE!!!! OMG, I was reading Heather 'Coslett' Fergusen's blog and I saw on the side Marcie and Nathan. I was so stoked and while I waited for my computer to load the page I was secretly praying it was you and it was! I am so stoked you have a blog. (Blogging is my world while Kaiya takes her nap) I was even more excited to see that you have me on your list! Owen is just so adorable! I can't wait to hear those poop and pee stories, I can totally relate.
