sorry i havent blogged in a bit, but i do have a good excuse- a long trip to florida! nathan and owen and i all visited my family in florida from wednesday to monday. it was wonderful! we had lots of great dinners, took a trip to the tampa aquarium, went to the beach, and got to see tons of family! owen was royally spoiled by grandma, and he got lots of good learning time with aunt sissy! it was a fabulous trip, and im already looking forward to seeing my family again when caleb is born in may!
quick story about something that just happened to me and nathan- we've been looking for houses to rent in austin for next year, and ive been all over the web looking at realtor websites and stuff. i finally checked craigslist, and came across a house we LOVED for a great price. we emailed the owner, filled out applications, and after about 4 email exchanges, the owner said we could be the new tenants! buuuut, before we could have the keys, we needed to pay the $500 deposit fee. it sounded somewhat shady, so we googled the name and address, and found a phone number for the owner. suuuure enough, the owner had sold the house recently and the whole thing was a SCAM! i couldnt believe it! ive heard of that stuff happening to other people, and couldnt believe we almost got played like that! now we are going 100% through a realtor! we head to austin next weekend to start looking and we cant wait!
lots more to tell, im sure, but not much is coming to mind. owen recently got a hair cut from daddy, and i got video of him screaming and crying. it was horrible, but his hair looks much better! ill post it tomorrow. im 29 weeks prego and everything is going great with caleb. life is great with our little growing family! here are a few florida pics-
