I Stink

Owen loves to smile these days!!

You'd think that since I'm home all day, I would actually have time to shower more. Nope, if Owen is sleeping, I always find something more productive to do, so I never get to shower! Seriously, I stink. I should be showering right now, but look what I'm doing...

What a crazy morning. Nathan left for work and I was in the bathroom. I heard water running and ran into the kitchen. It wasn't water, it was just Titus PEEING INSIDE. I work at an animal hospital, and I wear a jacket there every Saturday. I have the jacket hanging on the back of one of the chairs in the kitchen. SO, Titus smelled all of the other animals on the jacket and decided to pee on it. Needless to say, he was in serrrrious trouble. Not exactly what I had planned this morning.

I have really loved the seminary classes that I am taking this semester. It feels like such a light load, taking my last 6 hours. Eric Johnson is amazing. Yesterday we prayed in classes for a long time, that the Lord wouldn't let us learn intellectually and never let it affect our hearts. So many Christians know the Bible but don't let it transform their lives. I pray that this semester I really allow God to work in my heart, and to help me learn how to counsel others for His glory.

I've been working on our taxes lately, and it looks like we are going to get a nice refund check. I used to get all the paperwork and do it myself, but now I just use TurboTax. SO much easier! I will admit though, I do feel cool when I say that I do our taxes. Makes me feel smart.

Last night was a huge night for Owen; he slept in the crib! It was much better than I thought it would be. He did great, and slept just like he was in the bassinet next to me. I'm still not thrilled about getting out of bed to feed him, but it will be better in the long run, right? I can't believe that he is two months old. Man, time flies..
