baby rolls and diet food

ok folks, its official-im going on a diet. and by diet i simply mean eating healthy and working out. all it took was one experience in a bathing suit, and i must must must do something about this body. ive been back to my pre-pregnancy weight for sometime now, but, well, things just arent where they used to be! i was talking with my sister about different diets and such, but the bottom line is that if i simply eat healthy and work out, i lose weight. its just a matter of doing it. i wasnt going to make this quite so official, but if i dont tell someone, then ill eat the brownies that are sitting in my kitchen right now. so there it is friends, im doing it. thank you blogging community for allowing me some sort of accountability :)

on a different note- owen rolled over from back to belly this weekend! he gets really close all the time, just cant seem to get over that shoulder. but yesterday he was on the rug in the bathroom (its like his favorite place in the house.. weird i know) laying on his back talking. then he started to make muffled noises, and when i went in, he was on his belly! hes just moving alllll over the place these days.

heres daddy and owen in bed yesterday morning. those two get so much more sleep than me these days!


nathan and i have had quite the fiasco with owens room lately... there are wasps around our house (see last blog) and we decided to spray for them. there were a bunch around owens window, so we sprayed it really good. well, at 3 am that night, i went in owens room because he was crying, and its smelled HORRIBLY of wasp killer. so so awful. we have tried for days to get the smell out, but its stuck in the cracks of the windows and wont come out. i washed it with buckets of soapy water yesterday and will do the same today. i dont mind owen sleeping in our room, but i definitely dont get much sleep, and id like this problem resolved!

ok, there are going to be a million videos attached to this blog, because i havent posted in a while. no need to watch unless you just wanna see owen doing normal baby stuff... the last two are him trying to eat the attachments to his einstein entertainer. he wants to eat EVERYTHING. adios.
